If your Dakine bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.

Disappointment

Sadly, the Dakine bag I chose to replace a beloved Dakine bag whose zipper had broken, was not the one my partner had wanted. Unfortunately, I bought it directly from Dakine, paying the $11 shipping fee. Had I bought it from Amazon, there would have been no shipping fee ( being an Amazon Prime member ), and I could have returned it (free) to get the desired one. Very disappointing.

Pretty but plastic hip pouch

Nice-looking little fanny pack, but less functional than I had hoped (lacks an interior pocket that my plain black one has, is a little smaller) and rather than being of a flexible fabric, is rather stiff and plastic-feeling.

I paid for the bag and got refunded a week later so I had to buy locally. Super disappointed

Perfect size

This is a great size because it will not be too big on a small person, but still holds plenty, especially the larger phones. I like that the zipper is on the front rather than the top because it has a flap over the contents even when open.

Nice looking and great utility

Nice and compact but multiple compartments can hold a lot of stuff without feeling intrusive, very convenient for everyday tasks and music festivals.

I wish it had a slightly larger capacity, an internal clip for keys and a pocket/slot for an ID tag.

I bought this for my

I bought this for my 17 year old daughter who doesn't like purses. She really likes having a way to carry around stuff now... wears it across body. It matches the grey backpack and wallet she bought previously. Dakine is this family's go-to for all of our bags. The quality is always consistent!
