Great design

This is my third split duffel bag. The design is so much better than the traditional load everything from the top. The Dakine bag appears to be sturdy and well constructed

The perfect luggage

I am on a month long trip to the high country of Colorado. Lots of bulky winter gear and stuff all nicely packed in this amazing compact easy to roll around airports piece of luggage . I am a small female and it’s feels great to be able to navigate airports and rental car places all by myself with ease. Thank you .

Declined quality, disappointing customer service.

I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the Dakine Split Roller 85L and the lack of response from their customer service team. This is my second issue with the same type of suitcase, which speaks volumes about its durability. Despite sending my first email on January 10, 2024, and following up multiple times since then, I have yet to receive any reply or acknowledgment from Dakine. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in a premium-priced product only to encounter repeated issues and be completely ignored by the company when seeking support. This experience has left me with little confidence in Dakine's products and their customer care. If you’re considering purchasing from them, be aware that both the product quality and after-sales service may not meet expectations.

I love my Dakine Split Roller

I bought the 65L Dakine split roller 10 years ago and it's still going strong. I've traveled to Japan, India and all over Europe for up to 2 weeks at a time and it has never failed me. The only thing that could make it better is if it had 4 wheels (instead of 2) to make it easier to drag through the airport. The unique pattern makes it easy to spot in a busy airport. If this one ever breaks down I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

Pretty and good function

I've only used this bag once, but here is what I've noticed so far: Pro: -love the pattern. Makes it easy to spot our bag on the carousel -love the split design. Two divided pockets on one side and one large pocket on the other-- gives a lot of flexibility on how to organize. -Love the number of external handles. They seem really well reinforced. -Reinforced exterior corners! -The built in address storage is super secure and a nifty design. Thought it was hard for me to find at first. Con: -the ONLY compression straps are on the outside of the bag. This is a challenge for a number of reasons. 1.There isn't a good way to strap down items in the main compartment 2. If you want to compress anything in the bag you have to put compression on everything 3. The compression straps seem like they will warp the hard, structural ring around the pack if you tighten it down too much -A number of scuffs and scrapes on the bag after just one trip -Wish the exterior pockets were bigger

Putting miles on it

We got the bag about a week before a trip to Texas from Alaska. Temp in Anchorage were about 10 degrees. San Antonio about 80. Bag held up to the long trip, weather changes, and hotel transfers. The flower design was great for easy spotting, but the TSA loves it too. Only complaint is we wished it had some small interior zipped spaces to put small personal items

Well-designed and spacious bag

Bought these rolling duffles to replace ones I've had for years. I love the design of these Dakine bags, the ability to pack things separately in the top and bottom, and the thoughtful details and pockets. Seems sturdy too.

Love Dakine!

I was looking for a piece of luggage that has compartments where I can separate my clothes from my shoes and toiletries, etc. This bag is absolutely perfect! It makes traveling so easy and organized.

85L Split Roller

Great piece of luggage, easy to pack, durable and comes with a very good warranty. Would highly recommend it.
