Faulty glove liner
Gloves were replaced. Very satisfied
Not waterproof, not worth the price tag
Bought these at lunchtime one day whilst I was on the mountain because it was a cold snowy day, and my old gloves were just a cheap padded pair. After one hour I could see a little bit of a color change in the leather around the seams. Another hour later the entire glove that was exposed from my jacket cuff down had changed color because the leather was soaking up moisture. If you look in the picture you can see that from the wrists where the leather is dry it's a lighter shade of yellow. Took a break around then and when I put the gloves back on the water had soaked all the way through to the inside. Took over 24 hours to dry out, and that was with me stuffing the gloves with paper to dry them out. I emailed Dakine but never got a reply back. No glove is truly waterproof, but it sucked to pay $160 for these when other brands sell similar leather gloves for half the price. Really wish I'd put up with my old gloves for one more afternoon and gone to a store with more choice.
Kodiak GoreTex glove
Glove is extra warm but slightly stiff. Needs a good break-in period. Wish the cuff was a bit shorter as it rubs against your watch and doesn’t quite fit over your watch. Over all have really enjoyed this glove.
Great gloves!
Wonderful gloves that have great dexterity and exceptional warmth. They were a bit tight at first, but after a day at Stevens Pass, the leather started to break in nicely. Haven’t skied them in super wet conditions yet, but during a heavy snow storm and a few falls my hands did not get wet at all (snow or sweat). They don’t come with leashes though - only an inside loop to attach them.
Comfy but needs a curl
Great glove, used it first time last weekend skiing Lutsen in Minnesota. Very sturdy and great at keeping the wind out and the snow from getting in when you wipe out. I wish the pinky was a little bit shorter and that it came naturally curled like a hand but I can break it in with soaking in warm water and wrapping into a ball.
Gloves
I buy a pair of these every 3 seasons because they are so comfortable and warm , I never want a different glove . Wear them on the mountain and snowmobiling. Rugged , long lasting and very waterproof if oiled a couple times a season.
Best gloves I’ve owned
Only a season in with these, they were snug at first but broke in fast and are incredibly comfortable and warm.
Warm and sturdy feeling!
Very warm gloves from first day out at -10C! Expect they; will be good below -20 based on how cold my hands usually are. Fit around the knuckles is true to sizing though the glove could be a little bit longer (or I just have long fingers)
Warm, dexterous, and durable
These were a good upgrade for me, worth the money. Keep my hands warm and still allow dexterity. The velcro cuff adds some (unnecessary in my opinion) fiddling. Personally would prefer just elastic but the warmth and fit make up for it. 10 days in em so far and durability seems great
Great glove
I’ve been up to the mountains several times in sub-20 degree temperatures and my hands were quite toasty. My only very minor complaint is that it’s not that easy to put on as the opening is a bit small. But the benefit is that it keeps the heat in and cold out. If you have a wide hand or wrist, it’ll be a problem.

I wear a Garmin Fenix 7 watch…pretty chunky. Will that fit under the cuff of this glove?
