A versatile, low-profile ski and snowboard pack for missions inbounds and out.
When the backcountry gates beckon, the Poacher 22L offers enough space for your shovel, probe, skins, and a spare layer. Its contoured, low-profile fit still carries close, while the updated backpanel construction improves overall flex and comfort. Larger A-frame carry loops accommodate wider boards or skis when the bootpack calls, and two-way radio handset and insulated hydration compatibility help keeps you stay dialed when exiting the resort boundary.

awesome bag to carry my board and helmet
needed a great bag to carry my snowboard and helmet tight up in the mountain for my alpine hikes with my Drift Boards, this is the perfect bag. Just a small customer feedback: make sure to provide video instructions on how to fix the helmet on both low and high position as I had some trouble figuring it out! But I received great customer service assistance from Dakine thanks!
The SUV of backpacks - Take it anywhere.
I have put this pack thru a bit of everything since I picked it up - resort, sidecountry, and backcountry. It’s just the right size and was great everywhere it’s been. I really like the back-panel access into the main compartment - it makes it easy to access what you need with skis in the A-frame carry system. The pocket on the hip belt gets way more use than I thought it would. And, this bag is super comfortable to carry.
Nice Snowboarding Bag
It’s a really nice snowboarding backpack. Love all the little features. While wearing, it light and able to move around easily especially in the lift. Definitely recommend it.
Very nice backcountry backpack overall
As said in the title, very nice backpack, not too big, not too small, should be able to carry everything I need for a backcountry expedition without being too heavy. I really like all the straps for poles/helmet/etc. and the multiple configurations available. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with is the size of the A-frame carry loops, the description says they were made bigger to accommodate large powder skis or splitboard halves, but they are still a couple millimeters too small, my splitboard does not fit. I had to cut off a seam that was totally useless on each of the loops to be hardly able to fit the splitboard halves, not sure I'm really gonna use those since it fits so tightly. 5-10mm wider would've made those loops perfect. Besides that, can't wait to take this little baby to the mountains!

Hello, this backpack brings the bag for hidratation?
How can you put skis on your it
I have the poacher 22. I can’t see any way to access a hydration pack into the back. I read there was insulated sleeve on shoulder strap. I see a sleeve w zipper but does not feed into the back. How can I run my hydration pack in this.
Is this poacher bag R.A.S. compatible?
Is there an owners manual?
Hi Vince, Unfortunately, no. These do not include manuals. For assistance on utilizing this snow pack, please reach out directly to us via email at store@dakine.com. Cheers, Dakine.com
